Renee walks into the Pride City Metropolis Hospital and goes straight to the nurse at the reception "Hi, I'm Renee Rhodes, I'm here to see the man that was brought in yesterday, he had a car accident" "Oh Mr Parker, are you family?" "No, but I made the call, I was at the scene I just want to know how he is doing" she said "Okay, well usually only family is allowed and you can't see him because he is resting, maybe you can come back later" "I'm not sure but thanks anyway" "Any problem here?" A young female doctor comes to where they are "No, the young lady said she wants to see Mr Parker, she was the one that called the hospital when the accident happened" the nurse said "Oh dear, you can't see him, but I must really commend what you did, it is only a miracle that helped him, with the way the accident happened no one could survive such a crash, surprisingly he is stable and responding quickly to treatment, maybe you could come back tomorrow?" "Thanks doctor, I will be on my way now" she leaves the hospital. .................................................................... "I'm really sorry I have to be leaving you this soon, hope you will be okay" Ms Rhodes is packing up her bags in her room "Sure, like always" Renee said "I could cancel the conference if you want" "No, you have to go, I will be fine, I will just call Meredith to spend the night" "Okay I love you, there is food in the fridge, I will be back in two days" her mum gives her a peck on the forehead as she opens the door "Bye mum, enjoy your conference" she enters the taxi, Renee shuts the door "I must be loosing it thinking that the world revolves around me" she said as she sits on the couch, suddenly she feels a sharp pain on her back "Aww" she feels it but doesn't feel a thing she decides to use the mirror, she removes her top and turns to the mirror in shock "What the hell?" A wing of an eagle is drawn at the right side of her back shoulder "How did this happen? Oh my God! What's happening to me?" She takes her phone and dials a number "Mer! I need you to come over right now! I don't know what is happening to me"

Have you been tracking me? So you didn't come to see a friend it was me, I'm just so stupid to have told you all about my life!" "It was not that simple, she just told me the news because she signed an agreement not to say a word, but now she is dying and wants to meet with you" "How dare you just show up out of the blues, at this particular hour and think you know all about my life, and who my mother is?" Everyone in the eatery starts staring at them "I'm sorry if you feel that way, but you have to ask your parents and know what they have to say, because I'm not giving this up easily, I'm your cousin, and my aunt your mother is dying, you won't allow her to die without seeing you" "that's enough I've had enough, thank you for ruining a day I thought would have gone better talking to you, now I'm done" he stands up and walks out of the place though for a moment and said "I blew it". ...........................................................Life sure has a way of becoming the unimaginable, how do we figure it out that at the end of every step we take some things are not what they are, how do we fit in? "Okay people let's shake those dry bones we are way behind our routine, I don't know what you all were doing when I was away because this is not impressive" Alexis is yelling at the girls who have been going over the routine and she is still not impressed "Cheer horror indeed" Meredith said "you will get us into trouble Mer, just do the damn routine" Renee said "it seems like Meredith and Renee have something they will like to say" Alexis said to the team "What? No we don't" Renee said "Yes you do, infact here is a little warm up for you, we are doing the pyramid with both of you at the bottom, let's go or you are out of the team" "Now is a good time to quit Ren" Meredith said to Renee "Fine we will do it" "Okay, time is money, don't waste it" Alexis said "I'm really going to kill you for this" Meredith said to Renee. .................................................................... The girls are changing in the locker room, Meredith and Renee are rubbing their backs in pain "Its all your fault! We should have just quit! Now I can't stand straight" Meredith said "I didn't want to look like a looser because I hate her, I pray that locker door hits her right on the face!" suddenly the locker door hits Alexis on the face which sends her to the ground to the surprise of the girls "Oh my God! Get some ice! Are you okay?"Liv, Alexis best friend tries to get her up "Yes I'm fine just a little drowsy" Renee and Meredith stares in shock "Tell me that's a coincidence Ren?" "I really wish it is, I can't believe this is happening again, I didn't mean it" Renee said "Again? What do you mean by again?" Renee runs out of the locker room, Meredith follows her "Ren! Wait! Simi walks up to the young guy who is sitting on the bench, free styling subtly, she could hear his lyrical flow and was amazed by his talent "wow that's great" he turned to look at her "I'm sorry what?" Thanks, i didn't know anyone was listening, are you new here?" he said "oh no I'm way old for law school" she said "no one is old for law school, you will be surprised at the age of some people" Simi sits down on the bench with him "So, what are you doing in law school, you should be diss battling" "Funny enough, its just something I do to cool of, I'm having a rough time and parents say its just a waste of time, so I'm stuck here, now they can't pay my bills to finish, I'm behind payment and exams are around the corner, I'm just stuck in a whole lot of drama". The class is over and people are coming out of the class "You see that girl over there?" Simi turns to look at a young beautiful girl standing with a boy, they are chatting and laughing "She used to be mine, guess I can't put up appearances anymore because my rich parents is now broke so I can't provide for the girl's needs, she finds someone else who can" he said downcast "I'm so sorry you have a lot going on, but my being here is not a coincidence, if you need any help I'm here" Simi said "what do you mean by not a coincidence?" Renee comes into the kitchen to find her mum making breakfast "Morning mum" she sits down at the kitchen table looking weary "Wow, you look terrible, I'm making your favorite" Ms Rhodes said "I doubt that will cheer me up, couldn't sleep" "those dreams keep coming back don't they?" her mum asked "I'm fine mum, I'm late for class bye" she grabs a pancake and runs off. .................................................................... "This weekend has been the tortuous, heartbreaking and deranged weekend ever! Jerry peed on my bed and told my parents it was me, it was so frustrating" Meredith said to Renee as they opened their lockers to bring out their books "By the way, what's wrong with you Ren?" "I don't know, I keep remembering the crash with horrible nightmares" "Look, calm down, maybe after school we could go over to the hospital and check on him, I hope that will ease the superstitions" Suddenly John Lowe a nerd walks up to them "Hi Renee, Meredith, well math club is having their annual calculus and algorithm quiz to elect president, I'm running obviously, I was hoping you could come cheer me up Meredith" he said shyly "Oh! Me? I have no idea what 1+1 has in common with 2?" she said Renee shoves her hard "you don't have to, just be there, hope you would" he gives her the flier and rushed to class "Seriously? 1+1? That's pretty lame" Renee said "Look, its Lowe! He has a crush! Why does it have to be me? I hate Lowe! We are already under dog cheerleaders, we don't have to downgrade to be an under the dog cheerleader" they walk to class.

We all live in a world were we have little or no idea of how life completely evolves around us, what life is, how we fit in, even when we realize, we are lost in the shadowing masquerade, trapped in charade. Life doesn't just evolve, we evolve with life everything forms a pattern, we just have to discover where it leads "Oh my God! You are so wasted" Meredith said to Renee as they left the pizza shack "Yeah! Probably too wasted by the 5foot thick sized tuna pizza you made me shove down my throat" she said as they laughed in the streets. Meredith and Renee are childhood best friends, very inseparable, Meredith lives with her Latin-American parents and her seven year old brother who always have a way of making life miserable for her in a fun way while Renee lives with her mother. They are both regarded as under dog cheerleaders at the Queensdale High School in a city called Pride.
