LAME RED: SEASON TWO: EPISODE FOURTEEN: ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE: CHAPTER FOUR: LIGHTS, CAMERA.....ACTION!

The place is set for the press conference, the entire members of the press are waiting anxiously to hit jackpot on a mega headline.
 Dr Henry and Tamuno are standing at one corner, feeling nervous
"We have been through this, the entire staff gave their full support but its like a knot is tied to my throat" she fans herself frantically
"Its only a matter of time, it will soon be over"
 He mounts the podium, the place goes dead silent
"I am glad that you all honored my invitation, so I will go straight to the point, for a while now some illegal activities have occurred in this hospital, child trafficking is the worst form of modern slavery, children taken into homes that are not theirs, make believe families. The former medical director of this hospital was unfortunately someone who encouraged this activity"
The whole place goes wild,  the press starts asking questions at the same time
 "Please one question at a time" he points at a young woman
 "Why now? Don't you think you stand to loose a lot?"
 "We know the risks, but we are taking our chances" he points at a young man in another corner
"How is it possible that this went on for a long period, and you had no idea?"
"I wasn't the medical director, I didn't even work here then, I was called in just recently" he points at another woman
"But I believe you have been here for close to five months, so is this just coming to your notice? How sure are we that this hospital didn't take part fully, and now it is almost surfacing, you pick out one person to take the fall?"
 He becomes speechless, he tries to talk but he can't, Tamuno decides to answer the question
"Yes we have known for a long period, I guess that's what you want to hear, and we have handled the cases quietly, returning every stolen child to their real parents, if you doubt it we have testimonials. The question is why keep mute? That's an easy one, if probably you have a business and you find out your trusted financial manager is embezzling funds, will you out him? No you won't, you will settle it within, to avoid loosing clients, same goes to us, what do you think will happen when people found out without any action taken? We will pay with our lives, now is the time because all known cases have been handled so we are using this medium to spread the word, to say we are sorry for our incompetence, if you took part in this illegal transaction, come out before we find you, if you lost your baby without any proof of death, come forward we will fight this battle with you. Without further ado, any more questions?"
No one in the crowd shows interest, the just bend to take notes
"Well that does it"
She looks at Henry who winks at her and mutters a 'Thank you'.



 Ego is in an empty warehouse with two men, suddenly one man emerges from the shadows
"Well Well Well, I heard you finally wanted a buy in" he smirked at her
"So you are the high and mighty Oregun" she looked at him, he wasn't that high mighty and scary
 "Yes so I hear you work with Resplendent, how about we start there......"
They are interrupted by the gunshots outdide,  the police storm into the place, Ego looks at them in surprise, they place him under arrest and take him away, she rushes to Inspector Anthony
 "This wasn't the plan, how is it possible for you to just enter this place so easily?"
 "We checked the area, no one was even within twenty feet, guess it is our lucky day" he leaves, Ego is not convinced
"This can't be right, this was just too easy, how will we know if it is him when no one has seen him?"


 Amaka, Yedire and Yinka are in the parlor chatting
"Nnamdi should better hurry back with a lot of goodies from his village" he joked, they all laugh.
There is a knock on the door
"I will get it"
Amaka stands and goes to the door, she comes in later looking petrified, Idris is holding a gun to her head,
"Just what I wanted, all of you in one place, this is about to get exciting"
